The time change is coming! Do not get left in the dark regarding the importance of having your home market ready! With the time change, the days are going to be getting much shorter, and the darkness is going to be setting in earlier.
Daylight saving time is still observed in most states in the U.S., including Alabama, and it means that we move our clocks forward by one hour during summer months so that the daylight lasts longer into the evening. Daylight saving time usually starts on the second Sunday in March and ends on the first Sunday in November for the United States. This means that DLST will end on Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 a.m., pushing clocks back an hour.
With the seasons changing, the outside of your home is not going to be looking as glamorous as it would during the spring or summer months. The grass is going to be brown and the trees are losing their leaves. So, we really need to focus on the inside of your home. It is very important that the inside of your home be properly illuminated. There should be no blown or missing bulbs in light fixtures, and all light bulb styles and light color tones should match. Any non-working light fixtures should be repaired or replaced. Doing these things will help get your home ready for taking marketing photos, and it will help improve showing impressions for prospective buyers who tour your home.
