Brief market update! 11/29/23
We studied market sales reports yesterday, and we found some interesting stats to share. Last September (2022), the average sales price in Calhoun County, AL was around $180,000. In September 2023, the average sales price was $210,000. What about the month of October? In 2022, we saw an average sales price of about $177,000 compared to an average of $197,000 this year. So, we are seeing exponentially higher sales prices per home. The amount of homes we are selling are a lower, but home values and sales prices are much higher. So, real estate has appreciated, as it has been historically proven to do, and it is a great time to sell.
